Pick Up a Pack of Papered Pipers!
This pack includes five books featuring the work of Stoker Award winning novelist Hailey Piper—Planet Scumm issues #6, #7, #9, #11, and #13. All products are A5” paperback books with a soft touch cover.
"Skeletaxonomy" (Planet Scumm Issue #12), is a loving exploration of life, love, and other matters of the heart. And matters of the liver. Also: matters of the eyes, skin, bones, cerebrospinal fluid… and so on.
Take this book by the spine, and shudder at the combined horrors of bio-med social media influencers and unlicensed virtual reality sims. Shed a tear for families torn apart by consciousness cloning, and pine for the bittersweet love shared between a robot and their creator. Then, take a trip down the small intestine of ACTION, as an exosuit-wearing con mounts a desperate rescue on a remote planet. On your way out, mind the ghosts, aliens, and intelligent marsupials lodged in our subject's flank. And while you're stitching things up, take care not to leave any late night talk show hosts inside the patient.
Now, normally you might need to wait in line for hours before getting your Scumm prescription filled. But thanks to the miracle drug preorderax (also known by the trade name "Planet Scumm Issue #12 preorder"), you can skip the line and have "Skeletaxonomy" delivered to your home when it releases on November 26th—Black Friday. For the low, low copay of $14, get Planet Scumm #12!
And that's not all! Order now (or, like, in a few minutes if you need to go grab a credit card or something), and you'll also get a free bonus issue of Planet Scumm, pulled from our bank of back issues. Does a free bonus issue really jibe that well with the prescription metaphor we were laying down in the last paragraph? Not really, but who cares?
That's Planet Scumm #12, "Skeletaxonomy," AND one of our back issues, for only $14! Feel that beating in your heart? That's love. Sweet, electrophysiological love.

“The idea for the cover was to capture the idea that gender is something to contemplate. It’s a journey, it’s not fixed, it’s a challenge to meet every day. But not in a negative way—that’s essential.
It’s an act of creation, a push and pull with the universe creating this beautiful, multi-dimensional dance that’s asking the question what will you be today?”
Maura “Moe” McGonagle is an illustrator, a writer, and a freshly minted editor with a passion for story telling. They specialize in narrative works and have created pieces for all ages, aiming to create dynamic, inclusive literature.
All prints are trimmed to size and ready for framing. Printed with high-quality archival ink on heavyweight giclée paper. As these are printed to order, please allow 1-2 weeks for processing before shipment.
Issue #10 is an A5” paperback book with a soft touch cover
If you’re reading this in hardcopy, then congrats on being totally ripped and possessing the upper-body strength required to lift a double-issue of Planet Scumm! (If you’re reading this digitally then, uh… sick storage medium, brah.)
With this, our tenth issue, Planet Scumm has officially entered double digits, and what better way to celebrate than by packing this issue with a full ten stories? We like to think most issues have a little something for everyone, so it stands to reason that Supergiant-X has several somethings for everyone!
Lethal haute couture and militarized cleaning services? We’ve got that. Titan-sized war machines and megafauna? You’ll find a couple. Plus pet-stealing aliens, exorcism-for-hire, world-ending AIs, malevolent doormen, mirror universe tourism, and phantasmal migration.
To be honest, this issue’s so big it’s entirely possible one of Scummy’s brood hid something in there that we didn’t notice. If you hear any odd noises coming out of the table of contents, or notice an occasional bulge under the cover, you might want to proceed with caution.
Actually, forget caution—throw this bad boy wide open! You’re ripped! (Or in possession of at least 16GB of storage space!) If things get dicey, this issue can also serve as a weighty improvised weapon.
Issue #10 features the stories:
Thessaly by Lauren O’Donoghue
A Little Galaxy by Joachim Heijndermans
An Abridged History of the End of the World by Ben Hennesy
The Door Man by Christopher Moylan
Katu and the Eye of Flesh by Stefan Sokoloski
Deep Clean by Matt Hornsby
Desert Man by Joe Anderson
Hector Brim by Sam Rebelein
A Thousand Cranes of Blood and Steel by Ashley Naftule
Ghosts of Lone Pine by Joshuah Stolaroff
Original art by Sam Rheaume, Alyssa Alarcón Santo, Erika Schnatz, Camille Villanueva, Maura McGonagle, and Clare Fuller.
