CAMILLE VILLANUEVA

Camille_Bio.png

Camille Villanueva is a jack-of-all-trades. Sometimes you'll find her puppeteering an 18 ft puppet, dressed up as Catwoman, or photographing formula one races. But given the times, you'll likely find her working from home, art directing and designing for Square. She lives in a converted ice-cream factory in Oakland with her partner and pup.

In her spare time, she juggles a variety of personal projects: from writing music and gathering materials for her long list of cosplay dreams, to printmaking and playing Animal Crossing. Camille loves learning new things and she surrounds herself with plants and a growing collection of knick-knacks.

Camille is currently working on prints for her newly-opened online linoleum block print shop. Her prints are colorful and she enjoys layering blocks. Printmaking has always been a go-to medium. She loves how she gets lost in the carving and finds it very therapeutic.

Camille has been documenting her process on Tiktok and Instagram. This year she's hoping to design more zines and fabric textiles.
